Rental rules, terms and branding
Rental and rent-to-own rules, your terms and conditions, logo and colours, payments, alerts, reminders and the audit log.
Open Settings with the gear icon in the top bar. The menu down the left has: Company, Locations, Rental, Rent to own, Terms and conditions, Payments, Region and tax, Email, Alerts, Payment reminders, Team and permissions, and Audit log. The account owner also sees Billing.
Changing settings needs the Change settings permission, and every change is recorded in the audit log. Company, locations, region and tax are covered in Company, locations and tax; email in Connect your email.
Branding
Your logo and colours are in Settings, Company, under Branding. They're used on your invoices, agreements, quotes, condition reports, emails, the customer pages (quotes and applications) and your website widgets, and in the top bar of the app.
- Logo: PNG or JPG, up to 2 MB.
- Logo for dark backgrounds: optional, used in dark mode.
- Brand colour: headers and buttons, with white text on top. Leave it blank for a neutral grey.
- Accent colour.
Rental rules
Settings, Rental holds the rules every booking and quote uses. The defaults are shown in brackets.

Extras
The extras list is also here. It starts with additional driver, child seat, booster seat, GPS, damage waiver, roadside assistance, unlimited kilometres and airport transfer. Each extra has a price, whether it's per day or per booking, and an optional cap for per-day extras.
Application consent
The consent wording customers agree to at the end of an online application.
Rent to own
Settings, Rent to own: default term, minimum deposit percentage, which payment frequencies you allow, the late fee ($25), its grace period (3 days), when a contract counts as at risk (after 3 missed instalments) and the ownership transfer fee ($150). See Rent-to-own contracts.
Terms and conditions
Settings, Terms and conditions has two boxes: rental terms and rent-to-own terms. Write them in plain text: start a line with # for a heading and - for a bullet point.
Your terms print on the pages after the summary of every agreement, and the customer sees them when they sign. Preview PDF shows a sample agreement with your terms before you save.
Payments
Settings, Payments: the payment methods you accept, an optional card surcharge, invoice payment terms in days, and your bank account for the "How to pay" box on invoices. See Bank details and payment terms.
Alerts
Settings, Alerts decides which in-app notifications your team gets: new enquiries, applications submitted, payments received, overdue payments, returns, registration, insurance and inspections, and services due. Warn about expiries sets how many days ahead rego, insurance and certificate alerts start (30 by default).
Payment reminders
Automatic reminder emails for invoices and rent-to-own instalments. See Payment reminders.
Audit log
Settings, Audit log (needs See the audit log) records who changed what, and when, with the values before and after. Filter by everything, settings and team, money or sign-ins, or by area, and export it. Entries can't be edited.
Appearance
Each person chooses Light, Dark or System from their own menu (top right, under their name). It only changes what they see.
